2.8.0.1 released

I rolled up all the work we have been doing on 2.8 into a release. This release has DAHDI 2.2 release not BETA. It also has a few things to make it work better in a xen environment.

New 2.8.0.1 Release added to trixbox.leadmon.net..

The new 2.8.0.1 image has been added to the tribox.leadmon.net archive

You can access the images vi rSync, FTP, or HTTP.

Info on how to rSync is in this thread:

http://www.trixbox.org/forums/trixbox-forums/open-discussion/trixbox-isos-available-rsync

You can FTP the images from:

ftp://trixbox.leadmon.net/trixbox

You can HTTP/WEB the images from:

http://trixbox.leadmon.net/ftp/trixbox/

As always locally generated MD5 checksums are available, as well as the enhanced SHA256 checksums for all files in the archive.

New Release 2.8.01 and wildcard -X101P

When I first loaded this version and tested it. It rang in okay and Iwas able to call out.
I then proceeded with updates etc and adding drops etc now it does not work.

Can some one tell what file got corrupted or changed and how to fix it .

SIP Trunk inbound working in 2.6.2.3 but not in 2.8.0.1

I have a working SIP trunk definition in 2.6.2.3, however any inbound call gets dumped using the same configuration in 2.8.0.1. Outbound works fine.
I can get the incoming call to work if I change host=voip_provider.com to host=, but then outgoing calls obviously do not work.
I have allowed anonymous inbound SIP calls.

did you try

There are yum issues with 2.8.0.1

1. Fresh install
2. Logged in to web interface to see that it was all working
3. Opened SSH and attempted to yum update.
a. I did del the dahdi based on andrew's previous post, but one would think I should need to do that since the ISO was supposed to have the correct version.

Still can't install this one

Still can't install this one either.
Tried different media as well.
admin/ directory is still empty except for modules/ which has very little in it.
Also, amportal and retrieve_conf are missing.

install logs have no errors in them. Where could the install be failing that all this is missing?
Are amportal and retrieve_conf in a RPM or elsewhere?

EDIT
Found some errors install.log:

If files are missing you

If files are missing you might have a bad iso. The logs above look like one of the CentOS mirrors was down.

Any movement on this ?

ESXi 3.5 with Latest Updates - new VM Guest (type = Red Hat Enterprise 5.x) - 512MB, 10GB Disk (LSI), Paravirtualization Enabled, Virtualized MMU Enabled(forced), Enhanced vmxnet nic.
Downloaded TB 2.8.0.1 ISO - verified Hash from home page
Linked ISO to new vmguest.
booted and installed perfectly (entire process around 90 seconds might I add :) ).
Console - Manually installed VMWare Tools latest -reboot TB VMGuest ok.
vmxnet enhanced nic working perfectly after tools installed.
all appears to be functioning perfectly. Web Console all ok - no errors
install tbm-backup from /maint virtual directory - all ok

now... putty to the new guest...
yum update
- gets Transaction Check Error: with lots of errors
yum clean all
yum update
- gets Transaction Check Error: with lots of errors
Same again....

see

Yum error warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: Header V3 DSA signature ..

Yum error warning: rpmts_HdrFromFdno: Header V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID e8562897

Fixed by:

Really your post is really very good and I appreciate it. It’s hard to sort the good from the bad sometimes, but I think you’ve nailed it. You write very well which is amazing. I really impressed by your post.
