call waiting giving me a busy signal

When the route (line) is in use, if another call comes in , a busy signal is returned, it does not roll back to a queue, or even keep ringing. I have tried everything to enable call waiting, but it is not working. any advice??

I am running Trixbox 2.8.0.4. Linksys spa 942. We do not have a large or complex PBX system, only 1 user with 2 DIDs.

What kind of trunk? Perhaps

That fixed it, call waiting

We did not have call waiting with the phone company on the lines being forwarded to our VOIP DIDs.
