Sip wwith no authentication

We have a Sip provider that does not need any authentication which we have not been able to work, the system is not showing that we are registering with the provider that have our public IP in their access list and they say we don't need to register to make this work is this true since I never had a phone system work withoug registering the lines.

If they have your IP address

If they have your IP address you do not need to register with them.

I wonder why we can't make

I wonder why we can't make any outgoing calls or receive any incoming calls is there something in our SIP settings that we need to make sure that the system knows it does not need registration?
