Setup Cisco spa504G handsets

I'm having issues with getting Ciscospa504G handsets to config onto Trixbox. I have followed a couple of posts to get these endpoints setup but with no sucess. If i manually config the phones, they all work great, but auto config wont work.

Can anyone give me any advise/pointers/config files?

These phones should work

These phones should work with the SPA941 profile.

If you were using a current version of FreePBX, the endpoint manager supports the SPA504g units deeply.

On another note, we may well be looking at moving to an alternate PBX solution very soon & i had a quick look at FreePBX. Is this something you would recommend as an alternate/migration path?

UPDATE: Added the SPA504G as a SPA941;reset the handset & it still wont configure.

Ok, there may be some differences in the new firmaware. trixbox is Asterisk and FreePBX so moving to another distro is not a big change. Fonality just painted it green and called it trixbox.
