In-call feature codes don't work for calls that were parked

I just found out the hard way...

If you park a call, then retrieve it, then feature codes stop working for the duration of that call.
Example.
Park a call to '70'. trixbox says '71'.
Dial '71' to retrieve the call.

Now, all feature codes are dead. '*1' to record, '#72' to parkcall, nothing works.

I tried this on ZAP and SIP devices, same result.

Nonsense, works just

Nonsense, works just fine.

Since you say you you dial #72 to park a call I have to wonder what else you have changes. The only way this would have is if the parking context was changed or not included into a custom context you built.

If you would like me to post

If you would like me to post an MP3 recording of it not working, maybe that would convince you.

The #72 is not required. Simply a transfer to '70' to park, then retrieve, then it fails.

I see from the log that chan_sip.c does see my DTMF keypresses after the "failure", but it does not act on them. They play on the destination phone like a machine-gun.
Press one "#" and you get 20 of them on the destination side.

I would call that a problem.

A DTMF issue is totally unrelated to what you first posted.

So is the DTMF a secondary issue?

If you have not changed any contexts feature codes work fine on parked calls. I tested on Asterisk 1.2 and 1.4 which I have both running in the lab.

If you are using a custom context you need to include the parkedcalls context into your custom context.

How is it a secondary

How is it a secondary issue?

After call parking, no feature codes work, because the system doesn't understand my DTMF keypresses.
My parking lot context is "parkedcalls", which is the default that trixbox setup.

Before the call was parked, the system recognizes things like "*1" to record a call. After a parked call is retrieved, no more codes work.
I don't know yet what is going wrong, but I believe these two issues are one and the same.
