Cannot connect to the Internet from this BOX!?!?!

This is a fresh install from a 2.6.1 ISO. installation went as usual, this is not my first install. server is reachable and contactable via local web browser. server is able to ping www.yahoo.com. But when I try to login to download TB packages, I get the message that this server is not setup correctly on the network.
Anybody else seen this issue?

What is your DNS (1 and 2) set to? Is your gateway setup correctly? Can you send some more information on how the network is setup?
