Cisco 7960

I have a cisco 7960 that i cannot get to factory reset i have tried the # while booting the phone and the other things listed on ciscos web site it has boot load ID PC03A300

pull the power from the

pull the power from the 7960..

hold down the # and insert power plug.. wait a while (holding down #) until lights start flashing.

then type 123456789*0#

it works.. just the initial bit of holding down the # may take a while.. be patient.

no.. it should happen before

no.. it should happen before the phone is booted up.. you'll see some flashing lights. that's when you hit the 123456789*0#

now if i am right the

now if i am right the Headset, Mute and Speaker Has to be flashing?

I have never got it to do that

all i have seen is the headset lit then the mute

Ok,

Ok,

I got the New Firmware in and its now sayins Protocol application Invalid.

TFTP Server is asking for CTLSEP.TLV and SEP.cfg.xml

7960 phones shouldn't be

7960 phones shouldn't be asking for SEP files. What firmware did you put on the phone?
