Hey All,
Should be a simple one but since i'm new to the innerworking's of the config files I thought I'd ask here for some help.
I want to route an inbound call to the main voicemail system, not the one where you leave a message but the main prompt where you are asked for your mailbox number and password.
I understand I may have to write a custom extn for this but dont have a clue right now what and where I should place it
Go to your pbx settings>>> module admin>>> check for updates online>>> scroll down the page and download the Misc Destination module.
Once it is downloaded it will add an entry to the bottom of the pbx settings menu bar on the left. Click it, write a simple description like "Voicemail" and from the drop-down on the right select "Dial Voicemail" (*98) SAVE IT.
Go to your inbound routes and make a new route, you will see a new destination option at the bottom called "Misc Destinations" and you will need to select whatever you just named. Save it, call the number. Good luck. It works GREAT for me.
