IAX2 Port being re-mapped
Hello, I am having a problem with my IAX2 trunks being remapped to a non-standard port. As a result every so often the IAX2 trunk is disconnected and incoming calls are dropped. Now after one incoming call being dropped the IAX2 trunk will connect again and subsequent calls will come through fine, however once the IAX2 timeout is reached (60 seconds?) the process starts over again.
See below for details from the IAX2 info screen:
Host dnsmgr Username Perceived Refresh State
206.191.37.138:4569 N 8773043344 206.188.66.140:46580 60 Registered

I'm not sure why the perceived port is 46580, I've already tried to work with my IAX2 provider and they are saying this is most definitely why the trunks are disconnecting.
I've already checked with my router and it is not manipulating the traffic in anyway, but for reference it is a SonicWALL TZ-100W.
Also the version of trixbox is 2.6.2.3 and Asterisk 1.4.22.
Thanks!
Rob
You IAX port is being rewritten by either your router or somewhere. Usually its the connecting conection that is rewriting the ports. So either get another router to try or use pfsense. I usually buy a dd-wrt compatible rotuer and use those which are cheap and is enough for small networks. Small meaning not more than 5 people getting on line. Also it has VPN and other features only available on expensive routers.
