Just adding to the forum for others that might experience a similar issue.

Our teleco providers delivers a 13 channel PRI and 10 channels Analog via a voice T1. They manage an Adtran device on our site that passes our 13 channel PRI though and consumes 10 channels for analog lines. (Why? We are currently replacing our analog system with a trixbox!, this was the configuration I came up with for testing)

Of course Sunday.... remember that is before Monday morning with 25 users expecting new phones. I rebooted my Trixbox just to ensure everything was ready to go for Monday. Rebooting is something I have done many times before. When the box came backup the PRI was down. After checking configs and such remotely I drove down to the office. The TE120P showed green, ztcfg was correct, zttool showed no alarms... pretty much no reason why it shouldn't be working. I called the telco and checked with them and they weren't showing anything on there end either. No changes, no reason why it should not be working.

After a reboot or two I noticed the console would get (!! Got I-frame while link state 2) errors just after boot and a notice of yellow alarms, then it would clear the alarms.

Anyway to make a long story short we had to reset the Adtran and everything worked like a charm. I have rebooted my server before with out issue but I guess this time the the Trixbox and Adtran got there timing screwed up.

Just wanted to add this to the forum as there are only like two posts with the (!! Got I-frame while link state 2) error message. Forgive my ignorance of the finer inter workings of a PRI but is there some way of bringing down a PRI interface gracefully? I would assume that a system reboot just drops the connection.

If you get the message "(!!

If you get the message "(!! Got I-frame while link state 2) error", try this. Run zttool, select your card. Then run the loop test twice. The second time turns the loop DOWN. Restart Asterisk and the message should go away.

Have had to reboot our Adtran also

I just yank the power on the Adtran when I see this message - I would guess I have had to do it maybe 3 times in the last 24 months - Not often, but I do remember having to do it.
