Trixbox CE 2.6 dialling out issue

I have a Trixbox CE 2.6 system with a Sangoma Card connected to 4 PTSN lines. The phones we use are Polycom 550 phones. The issue we are having is that when dialing out, sometimes it will take about 20 seconds before u hear a msg that the call cant be conected, or a msg that you must dial a 1 before the number! you hang up and dial the exact same number and it connects, not problems at all.

But it seems to be the first call made that has the issue, could this be due to line noise?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can infer from here that

I can infer from here that these messages you are getting are from your provider because you mentioned "or a msg that you must dial a 1 before the number!". Therefore you need to set up a dial tone timeout. Go to PBX Config, go to Trunks, select your zaptel from (probably something like ZAP/G0 and for outbound dial prefix, insert w. Save settings and apply changes. Let me know if this does not work
