HUDlite doesnt work so what does?

I am trying to install HUD for trixbox CE and I'm using the 2.8 version which, as far as I can read, doenst install properly. What alternatives do I have and if HUD doesnt work properly, will the SugarCRM integration also not work properly? I need help and fast so I can decide what to do. Should I go with an older version of trixboxCE and, if I do, will it be upgradeable in the future?Thanks in advance!

There is nothing new in 2.8

There is nothing new in 2.8 except the Asterisk 1.6. Unless you need one of the architectural changes Asterisk 1.6 (nothing is user facing) I would not update at this time, it's too early.
