Installing HUDlite server on Centos 5.2

Hi folks,

Since this is linked from the HL web page, it seems the best place to post it. I do not wish to use trixbox. I am using Centos 5.2, Asterisk 1.6 and Freepbx 2.5 so far. All that's working a treat. I would like to use HUDlite as it seems to be a very nice management tool with a user friendly GUI and Outlook plugin which my business requires. However the install of the hudlite-server rpm is failing with the following message:

error: %post(hudlite-server-1.4.32-1.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 1

I have followed the instructions per this thread http://www.elastix.org/index.php?option=com_fireboard&Itemid=55&f... but I get the above error when I try to run the server software.

Can anyone offer some advice on getting HUDlite server to work in a non-trixbox environment?

Asterisk 1.6 and HUDlite are not compatible

Unfortunately for us, Asterisk 1.6 and HUDlite are not compatible, I leave you 2 links where I found that information.

HUDlite has reached its end

HUDlite has reached its end of life. HUD3 is the current version of HUD which is currently available for Fonality PBXtra and trixbox Pro only at the time with a trixbox CE version in the works.
