No callerID untill after answer !!

I'm using TrixboxCE 2.6.2.2 with HUDlite integrated into the Windows Outlook.

Incoming calls are delivered to a General Queue, incoming Caller ID is displayed on all the handsets OK, but the HUDlite popup on the workstation doesn't display the caller ID number or perform a lookup of the Name until after the call is answered.

Is this how the system is designed or have I screwed up one of the settings, as usual ?

No CallerID until after answer!!

I can only tell that it's not the way Hud is designed. Normally you will see CallerID number, and CallerID Name (if CallerID Lookup is used) when there is incoming call waiting on your extension.

Change of Strategy

Hi,

I never managed to clear that problem but I changed from Hudlite to OutCall and it now pops up the number and name of the callers in the Queue, if it is in the Outlook Contacts list . The dialing out from Outlook seems to be more stable and reliable too. Cheers.
