But can you post the installation scrip fro TB 2.0 and 2.2 the information on there website s not acurate
Has anyone here used this billing system? any comments?
Hmm, if you read the page for their TB 2.2 script you will see:
All credit goes to:
Robert Navarro
eFireHost.com, Limited -- VOIP Division
If you follow the A2Billing software, you may recognize that name as the same who made the script to install the new version of A2Billing onto TB 2.2. I'm just curious if MOR is based on A2Billing???? I guess I could install and see if there are any similarities.
The install script for TrixBox 2.2 is included into MOR FREE v0.4.2 package. Please download and you will find it in the tarball. It's too big to post it here on this forum.
A2Billing and MOR do not have any similarities. These are two separate products. Please try the demo: http://www.kolmisoft.com/mor/index.php?option=com_content&task=vi...

I installed MOR 0.42 with the trixbox script, and I must say it did make some changes, and MOR cannot be accessed.
"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /mor/ on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
Is what you get when you click on the mor link on trixbox.
The reason for this could be unstable Ruby On Rails servers. They go off very frequently and then it is not possible to install all Ruby on Rails packages. I suggest you to try install MOR after few hours.
Hi
I installed MOR using the Trixbox script.
When i try to access my server "http://x.x.x.x/mor" i get ->
Routing Error
no route found to match "/" with {:method=>:get}
Please help. I don't know anything about ruby on rails?
Thanks
Heinrich Heesen
Installed again, the next day using the trixbox script, and am getting the same problem.
"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /mor on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
Any ideas? or ways to install ruby on rails you mentioned up?
Maybe you have SELinux active?
Try disable it:
echo 0 >/selinux/enforce
Hello,
No offense to your product, however it really should be set to work with SELinux not just disable it.
http://securityblog.org/brindle/2006/05/21/software-not-working-d...
Please read comments in your link. I can't say better against SELinux. If such companies as "VMWare, Novell, Brother printers, Oracle, Sun, @Mail, Positive Software, Zend (PHP), Subversion, … the list goes on." are recommending disable it i guess that means there's something wrong with it?
Hi,
I have exactly the same problem as posted already.
When I try to access mor http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx/mor/
I recive an "mor routing error".
no route found to match "/" with {:method=>:get}
Does anybody have an idee how to solve this problem ?
Thanks & Regards
osi
Not impressed that MOR didn't provide more help on this issue

We have prepared detailed MOR and Trixbox integration manual:

has any one here used this
Hello, why Mor is better than A2BILLING, We would like to see compering of 2 products, at least know main differences
a2billing is almost there when you can receive calls to mailboxes make 3way calls and have the ability to bill the customer for all these features separately when you/or they click on it that are in trixbox then a2billing will be there. right now it's gettin there but not yet i say another 2 years away MOR needs more work
How does MOR compares to A2Billing?
Main advantages
1. MOR uses native Asterisk application written in C, A2Billing uses PHP AGI. That's why MOR performance is much higher then A2Billing. Simply put - MOR runs faster.
2. Compare interfaces and usage. MOR has nice clean human-friendly interface. Documentation for MOR is much more user friendly and complete.
3. Complicated inner logic in A2Billing. Software is not enterprise client oriented. More for calling cards.
User's notes
* Tried to use asterisk2billing, comparing with your product, asterisk2billing rich of feature but hard to be understood. That's my reason using MOR as another solution. (Dedi, www.clarisense.co.id, Indonesia)
* [01:51:55] gregoruspl says: I tried a2billing but it's very slow, no voicemail and fax2mail
* MOR is user-friendly, fast, stable. Simply - it just works. (vip-call, Greece)
I should remind you to try PRO version. FREE version is for demo with limited functionality. Compare MOR PRO functionality and you will see which software is few years behind in development.
You would like people to try your new, limited-functionality product. This is the only reason you have made any posts. You would like people to abandon a long-standing free product.
Did I miss anything?
i tried the free MOR and i wasn't sold on it so i will stick to a2billing
Hi all,
Long time passed after last post from this discussion, anyway, we still get a lot of inquiries from people interested in MOR. I would like to announce that from 1st October, 2009 Kolmisoft releases a new version MOR 8 that is the most powerful and reliable in MOR's history! To see all new functionality, please have a look at the article about MOR 8: http://www.kolmisoft.com/news/9/26/MOR-8-released/
Also together with MOR 8 we release a free version that is perfect solution for startups to begin their VoIP business. To download MOR free version please visit http://www.kolmisoft.com/billing-and-routing/mor-voip-billing-dem...
Is difficult to setup but a breeze to use. Also its completely free. Mor is closed and seems not easy for me to pick up.

Replying to the post about a2billing - yes, a2billing is free and opensource, but anyway about 70% of our customers switched from a2billing to MOR. I would like to remind the advantages of MOR that were already posted in this discussion:
Some of the user's notes:
* I tried to use asterisk2billing, comparing with your product, asterisk2billing rich of feature but hard to be understood. That's my reason using MOR as another solution. (Dedi, www.clarisense.co.id, Indonesia)
* I tried a2billing but it's very slow, no voicemail and fax2mail (gregoruspl)
* MOR is user-friendly, fast, stable. Simply - it just works. (vip-call, Greece)
* As much as I would love to win your project I really could not recommend using A2Billing in a Carrier Grade deployment at the moment for the following reasons:
1. With A2Billing you have to create one customer rate table for each provider which I find annoying. The standard should be that you create your providers rate tables separate to the rate table for your customers. That way you can create you LCR much easier. So A2Billing doesn't have true LCR.
2. A2Billing allows you to delete customers even if they have CDRs and this is not good because it screws your billing in the long run.
3. Too much hacking to get desired results.
3. The reporting features are limited.
