hi

Settings > general settings
General Settings Module Version: 2.6

if you enter ie mail.domain or xx.xx.xx.xx

it removes anything after . so ie mail.domain will show mail. 123.456.789 would show just 123 after saving.

tested on 2 trix box brand new installs.

Can someone open a bug

Can someone open a bug ticket and we will get this fixed right away. Every morning we review all bugs in the bug tracker and assigned them out. Something like this would usually get fixed the same day or day after it is reported. You can also use the setup-mail script which I do not think has the same bug.

Edit /etc/postfix/main.cf

Edit /etc/postfix/main.cf and look at the last part that TrixBox screws.

I never had these issues with SendMail and PostFix was supposed to be the magic bullet?

Cheers

I have the same problem - it

I have the same problem - it does save, but I have to use a different port - 26 - it is saved in the main.cf file as mail.xxxxxxxxxx.net:26 - but postfix is trying to use port 25 still and times out - my isp filters port 25.

My windows email program uses port 26 just fine.....
