Alright.
Let me first state that I am pretty new to linux and trixbox. I do work in the telecommunications field and am a little familiar with SIP/ Asterisk / Trixbox, ect.
I am in the process of setting up a SOHO pbx for my online business. I started out with IVM/AXON but soon realized that it would not do what I wanted so switched over to Trixbox....
Read for a while, got all my SIP connections working, IVR, voicemail, ect and have now turned my attention to outbound dialing via PSTN over 2 magic jacks (im going for minimal monthly cost)
I have been completely talked out of the X100p's since they seem to be so unreliable.
What I am documenting here is my experience with a smaller, sorta unknown TDM400p card from ebay seller
He seems to give more detail regarding his product than most, who all tend to point back to asterisk for any sort of help.
Within 30minutes of ordering I had a reply that my order had been packaged and was ready to ship Monday. I then contacted him via IM and had a short conversation.
He stated that I was being shipped a TDM410p card instead of a TDM400p card as that is all he carries now.... I have no clue if this is a marketing ploy but I'll be sure to post pictures, ect once I receive the card.
Since this is my first Asterisk/Trixbox install on my own it will be interesting to see how things go.
Keep you eyes peeled here for more info once I receive that card (should ship today hopefully since it's Monday in China)
.. Now if I could only figure out why I cannot past DTMF tones over google voice.........
