Good morning,
I've got a 2.6.2.3 trixbox version, I would be able to upgrade at 2.8.0 version (without reinstall all from a new iso)?

This guide (http://trixbox.org/wiki/trixbox-2-0-2-2-upgrade-guide) is valid also for new version?

Thanks in advance, kindly regards

Hi there, At the moment

Hi there,

At the moment there is no way to upgrade from 2.6.2.3 to 2.8. We have been discussing a possible upgrade path, but that is not ready yet. If you'd like to run 2.8 you will need to re-install your system from scratch. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Forget about upgrading,

Forget about upgrading, especially if its a full production system, its not worth the time trying to do it, nor is it worth the risk to your users. The differences in code are significant. Install the latest version on a new machine, migrate your configurations over, sanity check the system then migrate your users over. Trixbox isn't a single program you are attempting to upgrade, its an entire suite of applications and operating system change.

when you say backup configs,

when you say backup configs, what files are you copying over to the new server to make it work the same as the old server?

Thanks
