First off, let me send out a general THANK YOU!!!! for all the support that you guys have given me in the past...Sometime soon I hope to be able to also lend my own support to people who need it for Trixbox...

I have a quick question for anyone who might be familiar with or has used the Linksys PAP2 (i know...a lot of us...). I can't seem to get it to intercom TO any of my SIP phones. I know I can't Intercom TO it since the phone has no way to auto-answer, but when I send a *80,203 or whatever extension, it says "that feature is not available on this line", yet it is indeed enabled and working on all the regular SIP extensions. I dont know why I cant Intercom FROM it TO a SIP Phone. Anyone have any ideas please let me know! This is boggling my mind!

THanks again
Jon

Can you dial any * codes from PAP2?

Try *60 you may have vertical application feature codes enabled in the PAP2

Isn't *60 the "Speaking Clock" feature?

no luck - it just rings the

no luck - it just rings the extension - when i hit *54 it says intercom enabled or disabled (for *55)...Does the PAP2 try to recognize different feature codes? There was one associated in the PAP2 setup page for *80 but I disabled it, still with no luck...

Another thing I just noticed is voicemail dialing...I have a global VM box set for X201 that all VM goes to - when I dial from any phone *98201 I get a prompt to enter the password - on the phones attached to the PAP2 (2 extns) I get "Comedian Mail - " and a prompt for extension and password. There must be something that I need to do on the setup page of the PAP2 to get the Trixbox feature codes active...

Got it...

Scott - thanks for mentioning the Vertical Service Activation codes - I deleted all of them and then I changed the default dialplan to (*x.|x.), and enabled IP Calling, and it works flawlessly now! All *xx codes on TB work and the VM code dials into the right box and asks for the password.

Thanks again!

Jon
