Hi guys,

I'm a newbie to trixbox and just finished the video tutorial. I have managed to setup two softphones and make them register and call each other.

My problem is making calls from an IP phone (Tornado M5) to a softphone and vice versa. From Trixbox server and IP phone, I can see it has registered. But i still can't make calls to the phones or from the phone.

What could be the problem and how do I fix it.

Thanks in advance,
Elly

where do you see that it has

where do you see that it has registered? I can make outbound calls, by telling it that it does not have to register. But it keeps ringing after hangup. There is no dial plan so to speak and no inbound because no registration. eBay the POS's? I have 8 of em.

If you are married to the

If you are married to the phones you could add a custom extension type and simply change the dial string to SIP/ip.address.of.phone and you will be off to the races.
