lost registration to sip provider
Hello,
Why is it that by box looses SIP registration to my VOIP provider? I have to be doing a "reload" the so that the registration comes back. Is there anything I can do to keep the system registering constantly?

This is most likely a network / trunk issue. What kind of network setup do you have? How often is it losing it? What do the logs show? Who is the provider? There are tons of factors involved here.
I am behind a firewall doing a 1:1 NAT mapping. It seems to loose registration every few hours. The funny thing is that all it takes is an asterisk reload and it registers right away. Isn't there just some feature that retries to registeration every 20 minutes or somthing?

Atleast you are getting registered once again. I am unable to understand any concept because my phone do not get registered with my Trixbox :( On sip show peers command i see all my stations as (UNREACHABLE) and on station end point X-Lite says : Registeration error 403: Forbidden; simply dont know what to do and i am trying to work with these kind of things since last couple of weeks.
