Hi all,
I'm running a Trixbox CE 2.8.0.1 with a OpenVox A800 - 8 FXO correctly working and configurated (except FOP. I like FOP but FOP hate me...) plus some other gateway (GSM)
I Would like to substitue one or two FXO cards with a FXS cards (I need to link my Trixbox with an existing and very old analog pbx).
I haven't found any how-to (this is a strange action... maybe insane). i prefer not to do gen a new config file. The actual is working fine a nd i don't want to loos someting.
Someone has already tryed this?
I'm going to encounter a flood of tears or I can do it?
TIS IS MY PLAN:
1) Turn off trixbox
2) open the case and substitue the last red FXO (position 8) with a new green FXS
3) Close the case,
4) a beer or going for a ride to chill out
5) plug everything and turn power on
6) Then, going to dahdi-channels.conf and edit something
The file is a list of my 8 interfaces and now are all the same:
; Span 1: OPVXA1200/12 "OpenVox A1200P/A800P Board 13" (MASTER)
;;; line="1 OPVXA1200/12/0 FXSKS (SWEC: MG2)"
signalling=fxs_ks
callerid=asreceived
group=0
;context=from-pstn
context=from-zaptel
channel => 1
callerid=
group=
context=default
(i have made some a manual modification to context=from-zaptel in order to fix the DID issue)
I suppose to go to the last one and edit but I don't Know HOW and WHAT change. I have never seen a FXS configuration file.
Any suggestion for me? Thanks a lot.
