Missing Forum Posts and Downtime issues

Folks,

This morning, around 9am Pacific, we experienced an issue with our backbone servers for trixbox.org forums where several hundred posts seemingly disappeared. Our team was alerted of this issue, identified the problem, restored missing data, but unfortunately had to make the decision to lose all posts from approximately 9am Pacific and 11am Pacific. This was a problem that could have been avoided and entirely human error and we're adapting our monitoring process as soon as this post is completed.

On a greater note, I understand many of you in this community feel neglected by our team, and I'm sorry about that. As we've increased redundancy on the database cluster for this particular site we experienced hiccups and appreciated your patience. As a heads up, there's another web server coming, too, which you'll love, but I promise to make a post here before we deploy that server. I promise we care about you, this forum, and Asterisk. And again I apologize for any posts lost during this recent maintenance period.
