Good morning everyone. I am getting ready to do an install "will be my first install of trixbox" in a small company. Here is what i have so far
PRI from Nuvox.
Sangoma A101D with echo cancellation.
8 Cisco 7960 Phones
Now i need to find a hardware type for the server. I have been reading on here alot about diffrent type of motherboards and processors. Dose this really matter. I have in my warehouse alot of new HP destkop with the following configuration
P4 3.0GHZ hyper thread processor
1GB DDR2 ram
80GB IDE Harddrive
CD
3PCI slots
is this a good fit for the Trixbox server. I want to make sure that if his system were to crash or something was to go wrong i could quickly replace the hardware / restore the backup and be back in business. All comment would be great. Thanks as to i am a new trixbox person
