Hi,

Im using Trixbox 2.6.1, i got the inbound route working. However, I cant connect to any out bound route. Whenever I dial 9, I get a busy tone. I also changed the dialing rules to (.), but the moment i get pact 3 numbers I get a busy tone. My current Outbound route looks like this:

Edit Route
Delete Route 9_Outside

Route Name: 9_Outside
Route Password:
Emergency Dialing:
Intra Company Route:
Music On Hold?
Dial Patterns

9|.

Dial patterns wizards:
Trunk Sequence
0
1
2
3
4
5
6
7

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm

Don't you need to have some Trunks in the Trunk Sequence?

Mine looks something like:

Trunk Sequence:
0 ENUM/
1 SIP/xxxxxxxxxx
2 ZAP/g0

Otherwise it doesn't have any trunks to dial out on.

Correct Outgoing

Hi,

Yup there are I guess this would be a better look at it. Whenever I dial out, it either calls another extension or it tells me that all circuits are busy even when all the trunks are free.

Edit Route
Delete Route PSTN

Route Name: PSTN
Route Password:
Emergency DialingOptional:
Intra Company RouteOptional:
Music On Hold?
Dial Patterns:
.|9
0|NXXXXXX
9|NXXNXXXXXX

Dial patterns wizards
Lookup local prefixes
Trunk Sequence:

0 Trunk1
1 Trunk2
2 Trunk3
3 Trunk4
4 Trunk5
5 Trunk6

It's supposed to be

It's supposed to be 9|.

Delete the two other dial rules after that.

Dial 9+ number you want to reach. See if that works then build from that point.

A dial pattern as simple as

A dial pattern as simple as this:
.
just dials the number you entered, without having to use preceding 9.

How about one that starts with a 0

Hi,

I tried this dial pattern, it works well with any number that does not start with a 0. However I am from the Philippines and all mobile numbers here start with a 0. I tried to set the dialing rules to 9|. so that I can dial 9 out, then type the phone number that starts with a 0, but this does not work and only gives me a busy tone.

Just to make sure: With or

Just to make sure:
With or without prefix, you have to type the entire number (including prefix if any), then hit dial button.
Also check the phone local settings, it might come with preconfigured dial plan too.

So as an example

So as an example what dialing rule should i put to dial phone numbers like:

09171111111

right now for landlines with the number

1111111

I am able to use (.), with this I have no problem.

Thanks so much

Softphone

Just to update on this. I used eyebeam as a softphone and it was able to dial out. So I am wondering if the problem is my phones. I am using analog phones connected to linksys pap2t's.

If it works on XLite, then check your PAP2

Kumusta Sabrejaguar

If it works with your eyebeam, the you should look at PAP2T's Dial plan.
It's not a problem on Trixbox.

How do you dial out to Globe 917? I supposed you are using a gateway via PLDT? Right?
Or did you use ZAP?
