Polycom phone volume

Is there any way to set the volume on a polycom phone to always stay at the loudest setting? Maybe via the config files? I hate the fact that the phone volume resets all the time.

That would be nice to have that answer. We have a problem with headsets conected to Polycom 501 but the answer should be in Polycom config files.

In sip.cfg: Find these

It looks you are rightstechnique. My sip.cfg looks at this time:

<volume voice.volume.persist.handset="0" voice.volume.persist.headset="0" voice.volume.persist.handsfree="1"/>

I am going to change that and let you know if it helps.
