I recently built a new Trixbox for another location and realized it had System Status version 2.6.2.2. My older systems are running 2.2.12. What do I need to do to upgrade System Status on the older system...and why am I not seeing it under module admin or even package admin?

Anyone?

I'm sure other people are doing this and I may just not be searching under the right terms. Can anyone point me in a general direction at least?

To The Best Of My Knowledge...

...You go to 'Packages' and, when the 'updated packages list' has been downloaded, tick the box alongside each package with upgrades available / or just those you want [or need] to upgrade.

When you have done that, pootle on down to the bottom of the list where you will find three buttons labelled: 'Install', 'Upgrade' and 'Delete'. Click on the 'Upgrade' buttion and, Robert is your mother's brother, it should all start happening.

Installing and Deleting packages is done in a similar manner you just tick the boxes in the appropriate column and, when you've done that, click the corresponding button.

You may need to reboot afterwards depending on whether any critical OS components [eg: kernel, kernel modules etc.] have been upgraded / replaced.
