transfer to voicemail

I was wondering how to setup calls to be able to be transfered straight to voicemail. I saw in the feature codes this option is used with the *key, but upon transfering, and then hitting the star key followed by the extension (i.e. extension 103) then all I can dial is *10 before it cuts me off with a busy tone.

You haven't given any

You haven't given any details regarding what phones you are using, but the issue I ran into with this is that the system's feature codes were conflicting with my dial commands. You may have a digit map issue though. More details are definitely needed to determine the issue.

We are currently using 3

We are currently using 3 different types of phones. They are:
Linksys SPA942
Polycom soundpoint IP550
Aastra 57i

Each phone results in the same thing. I checked the feature codes on each phone and disabled all of them, just leaving the standard trixbox feature codes.

The feature codes on trixbox

The feature codes on trixbox were what was causing my troubles (specifically the *11 and *12 feature codes)

Are you using the xml scripts on the aastra units, or are they individually configured?

Not sure if you've tried

Not sure if you've tried this, but on the Linksys, under Ext1 (or whichever Ext you're using) in the web-config, take a look at your dial-plan:

Mine looks like this:

(*xx|*xxx|700*|[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.)

I reckon yours might look like

(*xx|700*|[3469]11|0|00|[2-9]xxxxxx|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxxS0|xxxxxxxxxxxx.)

Try adding the extra *xxx

See if it works then
