What a YUMmy day?

Did a yum update from my 2.2 box this morning (i check this weekly) and there was almost 150 Megs of patches and updates for it - mostly CentOS stuff, but all installed packages, nothing to add. Went ahead and let it update my test box - we'll see if it causes any problems, but none so far in about an hour of intensive testing.

Is this normal? This is more updates than I have seen come online at one time in a VERY long time (if ever). Did CentOS release a big bunch of patches, or did the repositories just get updated?

Curious.

Cool.

Nice to know they are still updating it, even though 5 is out.
