I have made a trixbox server at school. the main goal of this server was that students can learn how to make a proffessional phonecall. at first i have made it for people going to work at a helpdesk. but others can also use it.

here's how i have set it up:
i have downloaded trixbox 2.8 and then installed Hudlite on it. when i got it to work (special thanks to this forum) i installed x-lite on it. so as you can see it's not that extensive, and it doesn't have to be. all it has to do is make a internal call and record the call. during the typing i have not tested the recording.

so trixbox is also usable in training situations. thanks for the help

I have switched over to 3CX softphone becouse that is easier to set up. recording is working great altough becouse of the cheap headsets we are using the sound is not all that great.

trixbox runs virtual on a windows 2008 server. i don't know the hardware specifications i do know that it's better than it needs.
