Is there is DID providers in England one would recommend? Looking for something around Oxford, or London if the call from oxford to london does not cost..

Go to www.coms.com they have free DID at almost all exchanges. Just give them a UK address (hint look for pub addrsses)

Localphone.com offers free DID's in the UK even for NI (Belfast).
Works great, asterisk trunk settings available online...use any address..not UK address specific like some other sites.

We use a couple of business oriented carriers: voiptalk.co.uk & gradwell.com - both seem to work fairly well for us. The other providers mentioned by others above may well be cheaper and I can't judge their service as I haven't used them.

Well couldnt find anyone in Oxford so i created an IAX2 extension on a friends PC which works well and is completely free..
