DTMF Issues / Voicepulse - Trixbox

Hi Guys,

I need a little help here, im having problem with my trixbox getting DTMF to works for outbound calls, im using voicepulse as a provider i changed the dtmf to inband and worked fine for outbound calls but then didn't works for inbound, i'm using the voice pulse connect so the workaround that i did was create the trunks manually one for inbound using rfc2833 and one for outbound using inband so i have it working that way.

i called Voicepulse and they says that this is a bug on asterisk and it is fix on Asterisk 1.4 (1.4.26.2) i'm using Asterisk 1.4.22-4(which i updated from the repos)

how can i compile and update to the 1.4.26.2 version of asterisk to start using the Voicepulse connects, if someone could send me steps would be great.

dtmfmode=rfc2833
rfc2833compensate=yes

????

I used voice pulse for a while (only recently switched out) and have has zero issues with their service AND you shouldnt have these issues with your version of asterisk.

Same problem here

I have tried the settings below with no luck whatsoever:
dtmfmode=rfc2833
rfc2833compensate=yes

The Asterisk version on my system is also 1.4.22-4.

Very strange. Have you called them? When I first started with them they SSH'd into my box to fix a few stuff that I was having issues with (but this was 3 years ago; I hope they can still do this for you).

I Solved The issue upgrading to * 1.6

I backup my system and upgrade to 2.8 with * 1.6, Restore the backup and the issue was gone.

Glad to hear you got it working! There were DTMF problems in certain versions of Asterisk 1.4, so upgrading to the version recommended by Customer Service will usually fix the problem.
