Problem with callerID

Hello,

I am very curious for a solution of a slightly annoying problem:
(Using Trixbox 1.1)

I can call users on external SIP networks without any problem. And they can see my full CallerID. E.g. ext5@mytrixbox.com
BUT: When I receive an incoming call from an external SIP user e.g.: testme@voipuser.org my X-Lite 3.0 phone gets only "testme" as CallerID. Which means that I am not able to call the user back... because the important part: the domain name of the CallerID is missing!

I tested X-Lite by setting up 2 X-Lite phones in 2 different voip networks (fonosip.com and voipuser.org) without using Asterisk and the full CallerID incl. domain name was displayed correctly. So there must be something wrong with my Asterisk configuration. What am I doing wrong?Do you have the same experiences?

When Asterisk initiates a dial to ${EXTEN}@${SIPDOMAIN} (the callee's sip uri), it strips off the ${SIPDOMAIN} from the sip uri. Apparently, it also does the same on caller's sip uri when bridging a call.

The only way to solve this is to re-write the dialplan. Some reference is available here http://blyon.com/sip_uri/.
