We have been playing and testing our Trixbox CE system with a single SIP line from EntaCall. It does work.
Getting a second SIP line to co-work is turning into a nightmare.
Objective:
Add card/3rd party external device to allow my ISDN2 pair to plug into the Trixbox and get 2 incoming channels from BT
setup SIP/IAX channels to allow up to 4 outgoing/incoming simulaneous calls (in conjuction with my single EntaCall line.
Question.
There seems to be a lot of kit out there for the phone connection. I would prefer to buy one that I will know works with asterisk and is easily available in the UK with asterisk support. Can anyone recommend anybody.
for ISP/IAX I was pointed to sipgate but they do not support IAX and cannot advise me on making it work with Asterisk. I have failed so far to make it register from their website instructions. Mind you I haven't tried that hard so far.
It would be nice to deal with a company that I can talk to, instead of sending an email and waiting 3 days. Any experiences will be greatfully received.
