After upgrading to 2.8.0.4 from .3 my overhead paging system no longer works. It is a custom device with the dial string "console/dsp,5,A(beep)". Now when the paging extension is dialed I receive a service unavailable with a fast busy. Box is live and available via ssh. I can manually play a sound file via aplay but asterisk will not play anything via sound card. As for the price, I am not sure what seems fair, I would guess $25-50 but please tell me otherwise. I can make payment via paypal. Thanks.

Folks are always looking for guidelines. I don't know what you make an hour but I sure won't work for $50.00/hr
Think more around $100 minimum to get anyone qualified motivated.
