After upgrading my Trixbox to the newest version with Asterisk 1.4 I found that a few of my phones, a Cisco 7960, Cisco 7940 and S450IP will not connect to Trixbox without using NAT. They are on the same network 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0 which consists only of the Trixbox server, a Cisco switch with default settings and the phones. If I enable NAT in the 7960 or 7940 they will connect fine, however the S450IP doesn't have this option. The only thing that I changed was the Trixbox upgrade, the IP's and everything are the same. Is there something that I am missing here? Why would I need NAT enabled on the phones operating only in a private network?
Phones wont connect without NAT after Trixbox upgrade?

Because in an older version of FreePBX the nat setting on the phone was nat=never. In newer versions the setting is nat=yes which requires changing a the nat setting on the phone if you had things the other way before.

Thanks for the quick

Thanks for the quick response. Can I change this in the config files so that nat=never? If so which file is it?
