Hi,
I'm wondering a trixbox based on the centos 5. I tried to install the catual v2.2 version on an intel board with 965 chipset and at the install my PC was stucked. It seems that centos 4.4. does not install on boadrs with this kind of chipset.
When Trixbox will be available as a centos 5 distribution ?
Read the posts about the trixbox roadmap please.

Hi,
to use CentOS 4 with the 965 you must use the boot command line parameter addition
pci=nommconf
to use the 965.
If you experience any problems with SATA when installing,
then enter your BIOS setup first and
set the SATA controller to something like
legacy mode, or
PATA more, or
parallel ATA mode (I don't know your BIOS therefore I can't tell what
it is being called in your BIOS)

According to the roadmap there is supposed to be a beta (alpha?) version of Trixbox on CentOS 5 with Asterisk 1.4 released today.
Its running a tad behind schedule. Looks like monday or tuesday right now.

Where did you get this tip? From the CentOS Site, or somewhere else - there is a 965 board that I would REALLY like to get Trixbox going on - thanks for the tip, I will try it tomorrow!
