What kind of Benchmarks do

What kind of Benchmarks do you expect? This is a forum of opinions.

How many ports do you require? Is price or quality more important?

Are you experienced in programming SIP gateways?

Sill not sure what you would

Sill not sure what you would expect as far as Benchmarks, I think they spent trixbox user labs for third party devices spent their $20 budget on a case of beer.

If it helps the Sangoma card is Platinum certified by Fonality. I have personal experience with the Rhino cards also and they are top quality.

The only external gateway I have ever used is Cisco and only for PRI lines (may have used one FXO port testing not sure).

If you want to use an

If you want to use an external gateway then it depends on the quality and price you are prepared to pay.

Grandstreams are cheap and cheerful, but not great voice quality
Vegastreams are excellent, but very pricey

We also use Boscom, which are excellent, and priced somewhere between the two!

BOSaNOVA Firmware

Andy,
I know it is a long time since the BOSaNOVAs have been manufactured. As you still might use them, maybe you have a recent firmware for these. Mine does not allow me to connect through the web interface any more and I guess I have to re-install the firmware. Do you have any other recommendations? Maybe it is the JAVA machine which does not recognize the old code any more? Would still love to get this 4-port FXO working for me. THX. Klaus
