I am running Trixbox 2.4.2. I am having a problem with a SNOM M3 setup with rfc2883 - I send a call fromthe phone out over a Digium FXO ZAP trunk to an analogue PSTN line, no DTMF tones are passed - if I listen to the other end of the call I can just hear clicks, no tones. I changed the M3 to inband DTMF and the tones were passed but then I was no longer able to pick up voice mail, it seems inband DTMF was not being processed inside of asterisk. Conversely an Xlite soft phone works OK as does a Sipura 1001. The Sipura has DTMF set as Auto and there is nothing to set on the softphone. I will get hold of a Snom 300 and a 320 tomorrow to see what happens to them.
It seems to me the conversion from rfc2883 to inband is not happening in the Digium card. I have tried fiddeling with the DTMF settings in the .conf files but as yet have not had any luck.
Reading the forums it seems this is a real problem, I am in my first week of using Trixbox so could really do with some help!
