Hi all,

I need to figure out how to redirect incoming lines to different extensions. We have 6 incoming lines and would like the following to happen:

Line 1 and Line 2 to ring on extension 211
Line 3 and Line 4 to ring on extension 311
Line 4 and Line 5 and Line 6 to ring on extension 411

Any ideas how to do this?

The Zap channel DID module

The Zap channel DID module provides routing services for Zap/DAHDI circuits that do not supply DNIS. The lines must be in the from-zaptel context.

Routing of incoming lines to different extensions

That sounds so easy, but as soon as I add the DID to the Inbound Route, I stop receiving calls on the ZAP Channel.
Other discussions have mentioned changing a line in "zapata.conf" like mentioned here to "from-zaptel" but I cannot find this file any where.

Fixed - Routing of incoming lines to different extensions

I found it & Fixed it.
I'm Running trixbox CE 2.8.0.1

In Admin mode hover over PBX and click Config File Editor
in the /etc/asterisk dirrectory find dahdi-channels.conf
Change the lines "context=from-pstn" to "context=from-zaptel"
Go back to PBX Settings -> Zap CHannel DIDs
Create the DIDs you need
Go to inbound routres
Create a Inbound Routes for the DIDs you created
and you are done !!!
