Hello,
I would like to know if :
1)it's necessary to have a SIP provider's account in order to link two Trixbox servers for free internal calls and teleconferencing
2) it's possible to do a remote install of Trixbox CE 2.6 ?
Regards

1 - No you don't know have to use a provider to interconnect two trixbox's across any IP network
2 - It is quite difficult to remote install.

...Asterisk's native AIX protocol to interconnect your trixboxes. But there are other options such as SIP or H.323.
Give a man a fish and he'll use trixbox
Teach a man to fish and he'll use asterisk instead
Give a man a fish and he'll come back whenever he wants fish
Call him a twit and he'll get sarcastic and defensive...
then he'll ask for yet another fish!
Hello,
If I set up a IAX trunk between Trixbox A and Trixbox B , which IP address should I use in setting Trixbox A hotsname ( or IP adress ) ? it is Trixbox B ip address ? or that of Trixbox B ?
It seems that's what is done when IAX trunking two Elastix servers.

hello everybody ..
I don't think its the right place to ask but , I don't know where to ask :
- it is necessary to subscribe to a sip provider to make international outbound calls ?
