HUD Voicemail playback distorted

We have an issue where a couple of users are unable to playback their voicemail in HUD because the audio is distorted. If they access it via the phone or in an email attachment everything is fine. The PCs are using Windows XP with the latest java installed and the HUD client and server are up to date also.

Is it a hardware compatibility issue? There are no options in HUD to specify which PC audio output device to use.

Does anyone have a solution?

We also have an issue where HUD keeps on downloading the same message over and over. The HUD client has been reinstalled and the PC has been rebooted but the issue still remains.

Thanks,

Hi Graham, I'm sure the

Hi Graham,

I'm sure the garbled VM messages are PC related...could definitely be the audio output device, but hard to know for sure. What happens when you go to a PC with working HUD voicemail, and then change the credentials to the affected user's HUD credentials? Do the VM's sound fine?

I believe the repeated voicemail downloads was a known bug and has already been fixed (should be in the next HUD release).

Thanks,
-Chris

We believe its hardware

We believe its hardware related too, but just wanted to know if there was some issue we were unaware of that might have been causing it.

Cheers,
