Post your log: PBX > PBX

Post your log: PBX > PBX Settings > Tools > Support Asterisk Logfiles and file and directory names need to be exact "etch\hosts" not equal to etc/hosts .

Time is set by a pool of time servers so it should set it self if connected to the internet. The install program asked your time zone to get that. Do you need to set the time zone or do you have a internet connection ? Or are the minutes correct and the hours off ?

Hi Stanley, Thank you for

Hi Stanley,

Thank you for your help, I am trying to get broadvoice to work with asterix and I also need to find a way to configure my pstn trunk to work with my landline.
I have a few questions?
1) What is the difference between the Dialing rules in the Trunk and the Dial Pattern in the OutBound Route.
2) Do I have to configure dialing rules for in both trunk and outbound Route.
Please help me setup the broadvoice trunk.

1) This is way over my head

1) This is way over my head but they could be the same or different depends on what you want. Dial patterns are used to select or reject as well as fix/modify the dialed number. They can be use to direct traffic to the lowest cost path available and even to exclude some things like 900 numbers or certain country codes. Dial patterns are at the top of my list to learn as they are a key to many functions.

About the hardware for PSTN

I don't really know, I can see from my trunk page names like ZAP/g0 and I know that there is a pci card inside the pc. Whenever I configure something and try to make a call the voice response is " All trunks are busy try your call again later" Why do I have this response.
If I leave the dial rules in the trunk configuration page doesn't it mean that all numbers are allowed?
My scenario is :
User must dial 90 to get to the pstn trunk so in the dial pattern in the outbound route I put it like this 90|.
and I live the dialing rules blank in the pstn config page.
AM I RIGHT? HELP PLEASE
