Digium TDM400 hosed

I currently attempted to install a new digium tdm400 card w/1 fxo unit for local inbound/outbound calling. Unfortunately the web gui would not recognize this card and I reverted to manually installing the drivers and services. I was able to get the card up and configured, but my configuration was quickly erased by the Trix scipts. I called support and Rene worked behind the scenes for a while not really describing what he was attempting. After about 20 minutes he left with "Sorry I can't help you but here is my recommendation'

"When investigating this issue I found /var/adm/bin/detect_pstn_cards.pl would not load the drivers for digium and overwrite zapata.conf and zaptel.conf.

You should try moving that script to a different location so that it does not overwrite zapata and zaptel.conf. You will also need to load the card modules manually." - Rene

When trying to follow his advice it became apparent that my once working digium card is now hosed. I attempted to re install the drivers and services but this has done nothing. Any help would be appreciated.... Specifically by Rene who seemed to have hosed the card inthe first place. Thanks
