outbound calling between linked servers

I am running 1.2.17 and have a farm of 5 linked servers.

If I initiate a call from Server A to Server B via 4 digit extension and that extension had a FMFM to dial his extension then his mobile, the call is properly routed to his mobile, but my original ANI is not preserved.

Why??
