We are attempting to deploy the 57i using the auto-configure XML scripts provided by Aastra. We are on TB 2.8 and the endpoint finds the server but never displays the setup screen.
I have defaulted the endpoint but no change in behavior other than it updates the firmware to the latest.
Any thoughts on where I should look for troubleshooting?

Could be a few things. From the phone menu, did you try erase local config & reset to factory defaults. then configure TFTP IP address then reboot.
That is assuming you installed the scripts beforehand and ran setup-aastra-xml and configure an extension on FreePBX first.
