Aastra 55i and Plantronics CS55 headset with HL10 lifter

I have a customer that is trying to setup a Polycom CS55 headset and HL10 lifter with an Aastra 55i. They have changed the audio mode in the UI to headset and headset/speaker and speaker/headset with no luck. The customer says they have to hit the speaker/headset button to activate the headset after answering the call with the HL10 lifter. This makes it impossible to answer the phone while away from the desk. The phone is on 2.2.1.25 firmware. Any other config options that I have missed? Thanks for the help.

I believe you mean Plantronics CS55. In order for this to work, you should be running the headset through the handset, not the headset port. The lifter will then allow you to pick up calls remotely. There should be no issue working with eh Aastra 55i.
