aastra 6731i dropping calls at 45 minutes

I have 12 aastra 6731i phones a Trixbox 2.8.0.3. The phones are nat'ed on DHCP at the customer site. The Trixbox is hosted in our Datacenter. The customer's WAN IP is also on our network. All calls on the Aastra 6731i phones are dropping at 45:00. Calls have been tested with an aastra 6757i. Phones calls inbound or outbound on the aastra 6757i stay connected for 12+ hours until the call is terminated. A sip debug has been ran on the trixbox.

Is there a simple fix that is being overlooked?

The following error occurs before the originating call leg drops.

Session-Timers

Hi,

Can you check your Session-Timers settings in sip.conf?

"session-timers" command not in any of the sip*.conf files of trixbox 2.8.0.3

Is this a specific issue with the aastra 6731i?
Why are aastra 6757i phones not dropping outbound calls?

Did you ever determine the cause/solution to this issue? I am experiencing the same thing. I have noticed that the call doesn't actually "drop" it just disconnects from the phone. When you try to make another call you can hear the previous call in the background still.

We added the following line

We added the following line to "sip_general_custom.conf" on trixbox 2.8.0.3
session-timers=refuse

Aastra 6731i outbound local formware 2.5.3.2002 -- call terminated by user at 12 hours 35 minutes
Aastra 6731i outbound local firmware 2.5.3.2002 – call terminated by user at 2 hours 16 minutes
Aastra 6731i outbound local firmware 2.6.0.66 – call terminated by user at 2 hours 35 minutes
Aastra 6731i outbound to cell phone – call terminated by user at 1 hour 18 minutes
Aastra 6731i outbound long distance firmware 2.5.3.2002 – call terminated by user at 1 hour and 12 minutes

This problem does not affect the outbound calling for Aastra 6757i and 6739i from our testing.
