Configure XML scripts on remote network

I need to know how to either 1) forward mDNS queries from one network or another or 2) manually configure devices to use the XML scripts from a remote network. From what I understand, option 1 may not be an option. I have the aastra XML scripts up and working just fine on the direct connected segment. However we have a remote office that I want to be able to use the same scripts/trixbox over a VPN connection.

mDNS is not used on the

mDNS is not used on the latest scripts. As long as the remote segment is handing out option 66 in DHCP the scripts work fine across VPN's and any routed, non-NAT'd network.
