Hello,
I was wondering if there are any new models planned to replace the 57i CT in the near future?
Ideally a phone system that offered full support for wide-band audio, and wireless headsets that made use of the 1.9 GHz Dect 6.0 range.
How does Aastra's Hi-Q offering compare to a true wide-band SIP phone like the Polycom SoundPoint IP 650?
If you were to rank Hi-Q from 1-5.. 1 being G.711 quality, 5 being G.722 -- what would it be?
I would like to order the Aastra 57i, but would hate for it to be outdated right away.
I know that wideband audio is the hot thing right now, so a phone that was built from the ground up with the G.722 codec in mind would be beneficial to me.
The 2.4GHz CT headset would suffer from too much interference in my home.. so if I bought a phone today, I would have to go with the 57i + a 1.9GHz SIP headset from one of Aastra's competitors.
One more thing, which site offers the best deals on 57i phones? The lowest I have seen so far is $194.95 USD.
Thanks for your help!
Sincerely,
